Dear Support Button color is a great feature but presenting the font color as was available in the earlier releases was equally as important, as it exactly reflected the underlying font color and text size, for that Custom Text Drawing Button. You cannot usefully apply button color as a substitute for the font color as easy recognition of the black text is lost in all but very light backgrounds. In daily use, the ability to apply a button color is an excellent solution for hi-lighting important tools and groups, and in this role it is incredibly useful but that value is lost if the button colors must also be used to reflect underlying font colors, as those important tools and groups, no longer standout. A simple radio button enabling the font color to be included as well as the new background color and/or image would be really helpful. I hope you have an opportunity to revisit the Control Bar Button Properties. Thank you for such a great 'and extremely flexible' platform. |
