Solid Black Message Log

I have General Text Window Color set to a white background, but I am still getting black background message log. Not all of the text boxes are solid black but some persist that way. The alert boxes have white background and I can read them. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which ones show up this way. Please assist.

There are two color settings paid one for the foreground and one for the background.

Not all of the text boxes are solid black but some persist that way.
What text boxes are you referring to?

The alert boxes have white background and I can read them

Alert manager displays normally.

Trade > trade service log and trade > trade orders and positions both look normal - white background, black text.

Only the message log is solid black. Is there another place that might be controlling this?

No. Try restarting Sierra Chart. It sounds like some kind of Windows problem but that would really seem unlikely though.
