Exchange data fees

Hi

I am already paying exchange data fees on my front end trading system (Stellar Trading Systems). If I use Sierra Chart as an additional charting/research platform, will I have to pay for exchange data fees again or is it possible to waive them in this situation? It's fairly common for traders to have a separate trading and charting platform but it doesn't seem fair to pay the exchange data fees twice.

Thanks.

Yes there is a way to do this. But it is not worth anyone's time if you are talking about fees less than $10 a month.

Usually this is only applied in the case of a professional where they are paying over 400 USD a month in fees.

Sorry I wasn't clear about my situation and requirements.

I understand that I can get reduced rate exchange fees if i have a funded account with one of your supported trading services, but I am talking about receiving real-time data without one of these accounts. I understand that in this situation I would normally pay for each exchange on top of any fees that Sierra Chart charge for their platform.

I am a professional trader and am already paying exchange data fees (for real-time futures prices) on CME, CBOT, Eurex, ICE and Nymex (approx 500 USD per month on top of my trading system fees). I like the look of Sierra Chart and am considering using it in addition to my current systems, but I'm not really prepared to pay the exchange data fees twice. (as you say in your support boards it's unfair that the exchanges impose these charges at all)

Good to hear that there may be a way around this. Would you let me know what I need to do please? If it's easier I can call you to discuss. Please let me know.

Thanks.

The first step would be for your follow the setup instructions here:

Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Setup Instructions

You do not need to activate any exchanges at this point.

The reason for this is that an account is required before the netting, as it is called, can be enabled.

Once you create the account, let us know by replying to this thread.
