Good morning,

I am writing to you because I got filled in an order with bracket "pre-set" before got filled.

I set my stop to the identified level before got filled and then, when I filled, the stop just moved alone to a different level (in this specific case above the level I wanted it to be.

Another problem I had with it is that I couldn't modified it.
When try to click and drag to the level I wanted, it just did not move.

I had to delete the order (as well as the targets being a bracket) and insert it back manually with no bracket.

Can you please tell me why and how can I solve this problem?

Thanks,

Fabio.

This sounds like an attached order. Make sure you are not using the Move to Breakeven functionality:

We need to understand this better. Are you just not able to drag the order on the chart, or when you move it to a new price level it just returns back to the prior location?

Yes it was an attached order, the stop in this case.

To answer at your second question instead, when I tried to move it to another place (lower or higher) it just returned back to the prior location automatically.

Okay we now understand this better. We cannot reproduce this.

You need to update to the current version. Here are instructions:

Software Download: Fast Update

This is essential. We are not going to provide any further support until you do this.

We are not sure if this is an issue you would have on an older version or not, but we have done work related to server-side bracket orders, and possibly the version you are running could have an issue like you describe. What is happening is that the attached order is being moved back to its original offset it had when it was originally submitted.

when I tried to move it to another place (lower or higher) it just returned back to the prior location automatically.
When this happens see if there is any error message in the Trade Service Log for this. Refer to:
