If using Rithmic, is SC real-time and historical data needed for reliability and Market depth? I'm moving from IB to Rithmic and with IB I do need the SC data feed.

No, but we really do not favor Rithmic. We state this here:

Thank you..VERY helpful. With IB and Rithmic as less than ideal, what would be a better choice for reliability, market depth and Linux experience. This is a significant move for me so your candor and best guidance is very much appreciated. Linux has proven to be quite good despite minor issues.

If you are using Linux, then do not use Rithmic. That is out of the question.

If you want to know the truth, there is nothing that we regard really as very good or the best.


If you are a high-volume trader perhaps you could look at using the CTS low cost connection model:

Thank you. It's taken awhile to get the accounts set up and completely migrated off IB.

I am now using CTS order routing through ADMIS, data from SC and all is working flawlessly on Linux! This configuration is also nice because it removes one more application needed on my computer.

Jerry at Futurepathtrading is the broker that got everything set up and have been outstanding to work with!

Yes... that is how I am set up and ADMIS is the FCM. It's working great so far. I made the necessary changes in my SC profile. Please let me know if there is anything else needed. I'll be testing orders over the next few days.

Right that is what we thought. In this case, you do not take advantage of the lower CTS fees. You pay the full fees. You need to use "CTS Trading - DTC". Refer to 15 through 17 here:

For the account setup in SC control panel: Add External Service Login Details:

Is this correct? Should this be my my CTS login username and PW or my ADMIS login username and PW?
