why some studies stop working after upgrade

what do u guys do with the platfrom all the time?

i mean, i used couple of custom studies taht worked fine (for example depth of market for a custom based chart BECAUSE SIERA DEFAULT MARKET DEPTH DOESNT WORK ON CUSTOM CHART BY THE WAY.. or some studies based on times and sales.. or others..) and after upgrading to the new version they just stopped working..

well, ok.-. , i rebuild them in newer version but no, they still dont work even after the rebuild. a mystery..

can u please explain me how is it possible that suddently something i am working on for weeks stops working?

and how to make it work again?

There have been changes to market depth data which require changes by the study. This is explained here:

Otherwise, there are no changes and the ACSIL interface remains the same. So a study should continue to work. If not, we would not know why and you would have to make a determination as to why through testing and logging.


One reason would be that you are running the 64-bit version of Sierra Chart:
