[User Discussion] - no trade activity in log ( automated)

On a basic spreadsheet automated system, the signals show on the chart, but there are no trades in activity log. Also, I have the "use attached orders " box checked, but I dont think the targets and stops are firing either. I must be missing something simple. I am coming over from Multicharts and adjusting. thanks shane |

even when I load a trading example from the sierra chart custom studies, the same thing happens. There are up and down arrows, but no trade activity after running backtest on the sample reversal study, this msg comes up in the trade service log Auto-Trading: Replay 1.0X: CLX13 0.13 rng #3 | Trading Example Using Reversals | SellEntry reversal order processed. You need to enable Trade >> Show Order Fills to see the order fills on the chart. That message indicates a successful reversal order.
