i used to be able to install previous versions of the SC using the /help/download prerelease and then a dialog box would pause to allow me to enter a prerelease number etc.
what happens now is that it downloads and installs the prerelease version the same way that it does when intalling current version - that is there is no pause for gui inputs but instead it just downloads the current prerelease and installs it.
did you design this new behavior or is there a preference or file i need to change somewhere in order to be able to input the release version number i want installed if it's not the current prerelease version?

thanks

The installation process does start automatically but we can see how this is a problem for rolling back to a prior version so we will prevent the automatic start.

The other thing is you can just press the Cancel button and just interrupt the installation process and then you can interact with the controls.
