Quick question: is there a best practice for detecting in ACSIL if the chart is a chart of a futures contract (and not a stock or forex pair etc.)?

To make this easy we would have to add the security type to ACSIL. But in some cases it is not going to be set but we should be able to get it set for futures without much difficulty. We need to look into this. Give us a couple of days.

Thank you. Did it turn out this was something you were able to do?

Yes we started this but it is actually fairly involved and we could not spend the time finishing it now. Is there a particular Trading service that you need this supported for? We can then define the security type for at least those particular futures.

Currently, this project is looking at data mainly from CQG and Infinity. Thank you!

Okay no problem. We will work on implementing security type for those particular services.

I think at this point we could probably get this finished up by the end of the week. Please check back then.
