Data stoppage & restart

Hello

I've had a reoccuring problem with my chart data stopping for 5-10mins and then restarting itself with no error message given. If I attempt to disconnect and reconnect the moment the data stops I get an error message telling me "cannot connect to Open e Cry" (my data/trade service). After a few minutes of attempts it will finally reconnect and fill in the missing data. This happened throughout the day on 10-08-13. I contacted Open e Cry and they said they had no data failures on their end. I contacted my intenet service provider (Hughesnet) and they reset & re-registered the modem but I still have the phantom dissconnect issue. The data loss is not an issue unless I am connected through Hughesnet. With a cable system connection at other locations it works without issue. I even had a tech realign the dish yesterday but the issue persists today(10-09-13). Is there something I can do within the chart settings/or with my laptop to stop the phantom data stoppage?

When the chart is not receiving data I am still able to browse the internet with my computer. I use a laptop with XP Home Edition as the OS.

We cannot help with this. The only thing we can say is there is a connectivity problem and refer to help topic 1 here:

Furthermore, the connection to OEC is something that we do not control . It is handled by the OEC software that Sierra Chart links with. So really this is completely outside the scope of our support.
