Trade Live With A Sub-Instance?

When I look at the data settings for my sub instance, it does not appear to be connected to my broker. Am I missing something?

Yes the trading does go through the main instance. The sub instance does not directly connect to the trading service.

I'm confused - so, if I place a live trade on the sub instance, will my broker process it or no?

Yes. So long as the correct Trade Account is selected and as long as Trade Simulation Mode is disabled in both instances.
