[Programming Help] - New SC installation compile problem

new developer... Any attempt to compile causes the following error: c:\sierrachart\acs_source\scstructures.h(6): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory How can I fix this? Thanks. |

Describe the procedure you are following to perform the build. Are you performing the build from the Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL window?

Yes. First clicked on "Install Compiler" which appeared to complete. Now using Build Custom Studies DLL button. Screen Shot attached |

OK, this is an issue we cannot help with other than to recommend to use Remote Build. Why there is a problem with the Visual C++ compiler installation, we do not know. It really does not make sense why that particular error would be occurring. We ran a test on our side and did not encounter it. So it is something about your installation of Visual C++.
