The Chart Values Tool does not display the open, high, low, close of FlexRenko Bars with Heikin-Ashi study applied to the chart. Could this issue be fixed so that the resulting bar information is displayed in the Chart Values Tool window?? |

This is not clear for us. Is the Heikin-Ashi study set as the main price graph? If so, then that is correct that the Chart Values window will not display the OHLC values of the underlying chart bars.

Yes, it is setup as you described. The OHLC data for each HA candle bar shows up correctly in the spreadsheet for trading. I was planning to include in my trade journal at the end of the trading day. How far price continued to run after I exited a winning trade. I was hoping to use Chart Values Tool to get the price of the bar of the trend change candles. Without having to use the chart bar time and dig back thru the spreadsheet to see where the trades were entered, exited and then how far price ran until the trend change happen. It would be simpler and easier to just have the bar data displayed in the Chart Values Tool. ie: Hold tool over selected candle, write bar data in my journal.3 secs or less and the task is done. As I was thinking more about this issue. Chart Values window will not display the OHLC values of the underlying chart bars.
The OHLC values of HA bars are captured and display in the spreadsheet for each candle. Then why couldn't the Chart Values window be coded to display the same data values for each HA candle. Its not like the data don't exist. If it didn't, it wouldn't be displayed in the spreadsheet for each HA bar. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-04-25 11:19:32
