in the top left hand corner, i have a display for p/l and NetPL. I am trying to figure out how to ensure the round turn commission is included in the NetPL. as the day goes on, especially when getting break even stop outs, this NetPL is no longer accurate with the actual days net P/L.

You can calculate it using the Spreadsheet System for Trading study, then display it on the chart using the Text Display for Study study.
Spreadsheet Example Formulas and Usage: Calculate Daily Net Closed Profit/Loss After Commissions
(To be safe, put a 1 in cell J28, and do not put any formulas in columns K-N).

thanks tom. It seems bewildering that including commissions in a P/L calculation is 'not supported'. It apparently is so easy to do programmatically you can do it with tom's spreadsheet method, but it can't be done in the C code?

We do not want to add this capability because it just adds more complexity to the program and more questions about profit/loss values not being accurate. It is just yet another dimension of complexity to the already fair amount of complexity to these calculations.
