Want to build the *.dll file from an older (2014?) *.cpp file for the 64 bit version

I have a the CPP file for the MAMA ("mother of all moving average") study and the date on the CPP file is 2014. I am using the 32 bit version of Sierra Chart now - version 1725 - and I am not sure if the following link will give me a 64 bit version of custom study. How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study Provided To You I downloaded the MAMA custom study a few years ago but unfortunately I have yet to learn to code a CPP file - I am hopeful to ask engineering and not learn how to code and most likely I want to avoid changing my trading strategies. Alternatively, is Sierra Chart Engineering planning to include the MAMA Study for the 64 bit version? I want to migrate to the 64 bit version ... so how do I build from the CPP file (too dumb of a question)? Can we do custom studies in the new 64 bit version? I hope these are the right codes ... these 3 files are all the info I have. Hope you can code it and make it a default study.

Just to save SC Engineering some time, I made a small change and compiled it in 64bit for you. Then I noticed it's already included in the User Contributed Studies(see attached) so it has apparently already been converted and you should have access to it from within the 64bit version of SC ;^) -- Scott Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-04-21 00:14:00

I noticed it's already included
Did a side by side comparison and the calculated outputs (MAMA and FAMA) are identical. The labeling text of the input pop-out window for the 3 input values are different wording so the new one must be already a new compilation. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-04-21 08:22:56

Here's a copy of the older one you posted. I just looked at them both side by side and for some reason got slightly different results and your version gave smoother MA lines with the same settings. In case this helps you I've posted your original MAMA code as a DLL below. Scott |
