Trade activity log

Hi,

I have turned on save simulation trades and the number of days to be saved to 365, but still my simulation trades disappear from trade activity log. Is there anything else that needs to be setup. thanks.

But you need to tell us clearly under what conditions the "trades disappear". Obviously they are not just going to suddenly disappear.

Hi, thanks. It disappears as soon as replay is stopped. The log empties.

What log? And specifically what disappears? Provide us screenshots. This is vague from our perspective.

:) Trade activity log obviously! This was what my original post was about. The trade activity log has no entries once the replay is stopped. Do you want a screenshot of an empty log? What exactly do you want a screenshot of?

The Trade Activity Log has multiple tabs. So this is unclear from our perspective.

It does not make any sense. Stopping a replay will have no effect on any of the tabs of the Trade Activity Log. This is simply an impossibility that we verified now.

Therefore, we need confirmation of what you are saying so that we can understand exactly what is happening and what you are doing. Provide a screenshot before you see this "disappearing" condition and then a screenshot after. Along with the steps that produce the condition.

Thanks a ton, how do I send a screenshot of the trade activity log to sierrachart. I can put it on imageshack, but I think you dont accept it, so not sure how to send it. Please advise. Thanks.

Use whatever means you have to take an image of a portion of the screen and then save that as an image file and just attach it here. You should not need to put it on a hosting service.

Windows has a "Snipping Tool" you can use.

Replay started from oct 19th, trades entered for Oct 19th
T1 is the log file

Stopped Replay (Note: Stopped so that I can recreate exactly what happened to me earlier today. this morning I had run some bactests up to Oct 19th) Had to step away, so stopped replay. Then came back and continued backtest by starting Replay again and found the log file empty).

Started Replay again starting from the next day, i.e., 20th Oct. Log file is empty
T2 is the log file after starting replay again.
