How Can I Add a Line Extended Until Future Intersection Based on an Alert Condition?

What I want to do: 1. Create a Color Bar Based on Alert Condition 2. For Draw Type, I need a line on the Open that extends to the right until it is intersected Would also be great if this was something that can be plotted on another chart using something like Study/Price Overlay. Can anyone please tell me how this can be achieved? |

You made a good point there... it seems that there is an issue with overlaying extension lines. I tried to overlay alerted Open values from daily chart to 30 minute chart. Extension lines are there, but they don't get cut on intersection. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1523270683852.png |

@Zdislav I "played" a little with your extension lines. I think there is a little bug (SC side). With a "M15 Master" it works without any problems but with a "M30 Master" (and higher) there is no cut. |

Now I got it to work with different setting, but there is an issue... or better "feature" of seeing the future result of the given cutting candle on the higher timeframe. And so the extension line does not end with a cut at lower timeframe, but at the master timeframe. Which is of course logical, but in this case it is not usable to automate it this way. So the result is that when overlaying extension lines from a higher timeframe to lower timeframe, on static historical data the line gets cut in advance (if the next candle from master chart timeframe cuts the line). I didn't test it on live or replayed data, but I guess there should not be this problem... |

Looks like these extension lines are not created based an Alert Condition. How are they being created? CHT file shows up with blank windows when I open it. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-04-09 12:40:05

Yes, they are created in "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study. Try to press F5 and check the symbol for your datafeed...
