Dear Support,
I thought this problem was a very temporary one, but it has occurred three times out of four, rejection supposedly due to system overload at BitMEX.
I am using an automatic tradingsystem (spreadsheet version) executed against BitMEX. The system is a reversal system that is in the market all the time and depends on successful reversals (orders are sent at market).
At one time a reversal from short to long has succseeded. Today a sell signal was generated for a reversal from long to short.
An alert was generated ok, but the order was rejected. In the Trade Service Log the following was written:
"New order rejected - BitMEX Trading Direct error: The system is currently overloaded. Please try again later. Internal OrderID: 925939. Service OrderID (none). Symbol: XBTUSD-BMEX 2018-04-01 16:35:02 *"
There was a second identical line written with the only difference that it had a OrderID equal to 925940.
When sending manual Market or Limit orders this never happens. I doubt that this is an overload problem, it seems that this problem is caused by something else. The ordervalue was very low (was long 100 contracts, with a new net short of 80 contracts).
The whole system performance depends on successful reversals in order to match the backtesting numbers.
I hope you can give me some direction and info how to correct this problem.

Thanks and regards in advance,
Staffan/ SunsetT

PS thanks for your answer to my previous support issue, I have followed your instructions, and so far it works.

When sending manual Market or Limit orders this never happens.
If this is true, then do not use the Spreadsheet System for Trading study and use ACSIL instead, and try putting a delay between sending of orders but we think this is getting too complicated and we are not going to help with that.

This is purely 100% a BitMEX issue and it is not within our control whatsoever. If you think you can develop a solution, then do so. We cannot provide any further help.

I doubt that this is an overload problem,
Recognize the problem for what it is. It is a BitMEX issue.
