overlapping line / percentage

I have noticed a distortion in overlapping lines occurring when the percentage is indicated at the center of the line. Is it possible SC checks into this and incorporates a buffer between the beginning of the line and the label when the label is set to center?

PS this is with broken lines. Naturally solid lines will show no variance.
