I have two PC where I have SC running.
One at work, one at home.
They both show basically the same charts.

I would love to draw some drawings on my work pc and import that drawings on my home pc, because the home pc is the one where trading happens.

Is there a way to export the drawings and import them on the other pc?
Maybe with syncing some files between the two pc?

What I would try to do if I were you is to install Dropbox or Google Drive on both machines. And sync the chartbooks back and forth. You'd have to have the chartbooks in a folder in the Dropbox or Google Drive folder. Sierra Chart allows opening and saving to folders other than the main data folder by selecting the "Folder" button on the Open/Save Chartbook dialog boxes.

You could also add the chartbook to auto Open On Startup by going to Menubar->Global Settings->General Settings->Files to Open On Startup. If you don't already know about that feature.

Also remember to wait a minute before shutting down either computer after you close Sierra Chart and look at the icon in the taskbar next to the clock to make sure the upload has completed. Same when you start either computer and before you open Sierra Chart because the updated or new chartbook file would need to be downloaded and overwritten.

I would not recommend changing the Sierra Chart data files folder to within the sync folder because it contains the intraday (.scid) files which can be several gigabytes in size.
Every new tick would update the .scid file and cause whichever sync program to be constantly uploading a new version potentially several gigabytes in size. It would be a never ending nightmare for your internet.

So make a named folder within the sync folder to sync chartbooks. You could also manually copy study collections and Dll files here but you would have to copy them back and forth to the Sierra Chart data directory on each machine.

I was going to recommend Sugar Sync because it allows to sync existing folder structures, however it only allows to exclude folders not certain files like (.scid). Had it allowed to exclude .scid files then it would seamlessly sync Chartbooks, Study Collections and dll files. Also you have to have a monthly plan for sugarsync which costs a minimum of $7.50 per month. Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive have free plans.

Basically you need to copy the Chartbook containing the charts from one system to the other. Refer to:

Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive have free plans.
This is why you should never trust them with any files you want to be private.

I'm aware. I have lost a lot of respect for Google over the last couple of years. Even switched to DuckDuckGo as my search engine. I often wonder what the internet will be like in 10 or 20 years with the lack of respect to privacy and more censorship the tech giants seem to be justifying.

Thank you!
Wasn't sure about where the drawing information is saved. But I guess the chart book file makes sense.

Hi I am starting with SierraChart and looked for a solution for the same issue.
I use Insync which allows to ignore files with gitignore style configuration. Otherwise I recommend syncthing which is a nice open source solution, it works on the local network, so very fast and no privacy issue, but you won't be able to use it easily outside your local network.

Another solution if you are working with local systems is to consider using sharemouse.com
If all of your systems are on the same network, you can easily drag the SierraChart folders between your computers.
The product allows you to use a single keyboard and mouse across all your systems (mac/windows).
Works great for me in any case. If you travel with a laptop to different locations, you can just sync your files when you arrive.

If you don't want to use a laptop for the files, don't forget that the iPhone/Android you carry probably has plenty of space to hold your SierraChart folder... Copy/Paste...
