draw volume profile for TPO chart

is it possible to draw volume profile for tpo chart? I am lost in settings, when i draw for specific period, it just adds volume profiles for each tpo profile, but i want it left aligned if not possible to draw, how do I add VbP for specific period and so its right aligned? |

thank you, it helped but not much I have also read draw volume profile help page. i have attached screenshots, Have set up the draw volume profile tool, but the profiles are aligned to the right no matter how i play with the settings, screenshot "draw vol prof 1" 1. I would like to have them aligned either with the first TPO profile of the range and extend bars to the right, or align with right side of selected range with volume bars extended to the left. 2. I am having issues with selecting tpo profiles for volume microcomposite, it either includes previous profile or doesnt include the profile I am starting to draw with, kind of random result with this. Where exactly to click to include exactly those tpo profiles i need? In short, it draws not what i select, see screenshot "draw vol prof 2", with profile setting on the same pic. 3. I would like it to draw a frame around TPO profiles included into volume profile, so I see which days are included into microcomposite. Is this possible? thanks in advance |

You cannot use the Draw Volume Profile tool with TPO charts. There simply is no support for this whatsoever. 3. We do not think this is going to work reliably. so the only option on TPO chart is right aligned profile with manually inserted start/end date-time?

Yes. But you can also merge multiple TPO profiles together into a larger profile. There are new commands that let you select a beginning and ending TPO profile to merge a group of profiles all at once together. Refer to the documentation here: Time Price Opportunity (TPO) Profile Charts: Splitting and Merging TPO Profiles We still have to document those particular commands but the basic explanation of merging is described. And then if you have a Volume by Price study on the chart as explained here which is based on the TPO profiles: Time Price Opportunity (TPO) Profile Charts: Displaying Volume Profiles Then that Volume by Price study will also be for that merged amount of time.
