I am running 1713 32 bit and I go to Help>Download Current Version and it says it has downloaded current version. I then get the screen that asks if I want to let this software make changes to my computer and I click Yes. I then just get a blank screen and no install happens. I want to update to the 1717 64 bit. How do I do that?

For now you can use the SierraChartFileDownloader.exe in your main SierraChart folder. It sounds like SC Support is working on a fix for this soon based on comments in another thread today.

Use this installer:

We also released version 1718 to resolve the issue and this issue clearly is some kind of Windows 10 bug. That is clear from our perspective.

It is recommended to use the 64-bit version...
So would you pls provide 64_bit-only installer in case it'll not takes a lot of time to release it?

Thnx.

The installer will always be 32-bit and we see no reason for it to be 64-bit. But are you asking that you do not want the installer to install the 32-bit version of Sierra Chart?

imo, it's not follow your logic since you have recommended 64 bit but it's up to you.

But are you asking that you do not want the installer to install the 32-bit version of Sierra Chart?
No. It's about pure 64 bit because I see no logic to have 32 bit part of wine on linux in order to run installer only since RHEL/CentOS and Debian 64 bit has no that crap.

The fact is 2D graphics performance on wine 1.4.1 is far better compared to Win10 to drive some charts using SC.

Looks like the well development apps and setups are in the past in most cases. Bad reality.

Keep providing *.zip / mobile version to make it possible to solve this in other simple way.

Okay so you are asking for the 64-bit installer for running on WINE. For now we just recommend using the zip installer.
