Hi

I use my first instance for charts and second instance for trading. From the past 3 days, sub instances are not working, meaning DOMs are not showing up. In Data/trade service settings, the Service is "DTC- Sub instance (trading)" and I am unable to change it (to CQG Web API). This never happened in the past 6 months. How to resolve this?

meaning DOMs are not showing up.
What exactly does this mean? We need a much more clear explanation of what functionality you are referring to and how you come to this conclusion.

When I go to File>>Find symbol, I have to change my instance to CQG-WebAPI and then select the symbol's DOM. I never changed this "instance" setting in 'Find symbol' before. Even after opening the DOM in this way, it has only SIM option. There is no LIVE option. I have traded on SIM last week in sub-instance and from that time, this problem exists. Only in main instance, I have 2 options- LIVE and SIM.

Briefly, 2 problems (in sub instance)
1. Have to change instance setting to open DOM in Find symbol
2. Only SIM option exists

Do not change that Instance setting in File >> Find Symbol.

To use additional instances of Sierra Chart use the documented method here:
Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance

The disable Trade Simulation Mode, refer to:
Overview of Trading: Difference between Simulated and Non-Simulated Trading Modes

I have deleted my sub instance and all the data and started a new one using File >> New instance.

The screenshot attached shows "find symbol" in both my main instance (right side) and sub instance. The symbol for crude oil is "F.US.CLEJ18" in main instance but "CLJ18" for sub instance. So the new instance is not showing my actual data feed's symbols (CQG WebAPI) which is why market depth is not being shown.

There are no problems with main instance. Problem is only with sub instance which remains even after deleting all previous instances. There is no check mark by "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" in both the instances. Also "Enable DTC protocol server" is disabled in sub instance. I am unable to figure this out.

In the sub instance, while it is connected to the data feed perform a Full Reset of the Symbol Settings:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalSymbolSettings.php#FullResetSymbolSettingsSteps

In that Trade Account list box with the simulation account, that does make sense to see that account there. Just click the down arrow and select your CQG account. It will be listed there.

Have already done full reset earlier and again now. Even in those symbols list, crude oil is shown as "CL" instead of "F.US.CL". Also in that trade account list, only 'sim1" exists in down arrow. In the previous sub instance which I deleted now, I changed instance setting from DTC-subinstance" to "CQG-WebAPI" and that changed symbols list back to the default but even then, down arrow did not show my CQG account even though trade simulation mode was off. I did not change instance this time but nothing seems to work. Attached is symbols list after full reset now.

It clearly appears like the main instance of Sierra Chart is not even connected to CQG. It must be. Here are instructions:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

After changing settings in the main instance, exit from the sub instance and start it again.

We cannot reproduce any of these problems so long as the main instance of Sierra Chart is connected to CQG.
