Dear Sir,

When I trade XBTUSD with Bitmex using sierrachart, it shows the the account cash balance as 9567225.00 and Account Value as 9526780.00. But I only deposit 0.1 xbt on my account. itseems not showing correctly. Without the correct balance, the trader usually will not open his position with correct size.

my question is :

What is the unit of that cash balance?

Is there any way I could change it by myself? At same time, how I could limit my openning size of the position.

Thanks a lot!!!

Those values are taken directly from the BitMEX Margin data response. They cannot be changed. We cannot answer any questions about them. You need to ask BitMEX.

However, we do see you are running an older version of Sierra Chart.

You need to update to the latest "Prerelease":

The balance you see in Sierra appears to be in Satoshis (a hundred millionth of a Bitcoin). 9,567,225 Satoshis is 0.09567225 XBT which rounds to 0.1 XBT.

I haven't found any confirmation of this other than doing some test trades in Sierra Chart with BitMex TestNet, trading various amounts of XBT-USDT. It makes sense that you can trade as low as one Satoshi, the smallest amount possible.

Is there any way I could change it by myself? At same time, how I could limit my openning size of the position.
It would be nice if we could enter a multiplier so we can deal in smaller numbers of Sierra contracts.

In fact, the reported balance is entirely correct.

The BitMex system, including API, stores, reports and calculates satoshis, not the larger denomination whole bitcoin.

Download trade information directly from the BitMEX website and you will see the same thing.

I am happy with this arrangement.

The decimal places in the Sierra reportage, though, make no sense, satoshis being indivisible. I just ignore them.
