Hello, Could you please let me know what is the name of Ichimoku indicator in the Sierra chart? I could not find it with this name. Thanks

There is no single Ichimoku indicator in Sierra Chart. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo can be represented from its individual indicators by adding each of them to your chart. The Indicators are: ~Senko Span A & B (This represents the Kumo Cloud) ~Kijun-Sen ~Tenkan-Sen ~Chikou Span Instead of manually adding each indicator to your chart every time, I made a Study Collection long ago that simplifies this and colors the Kumo cloud semi-transparent red and green instead of just solid green. Add the attached study collection to your Sierra Chart data folder, and go to the Menubar->Analysis->Ichimoku Kinko Hyo+ to add the Ichimoku system to any chart you wish. Also note that Senko Span A & B is displaced 26 bars into the future so be sure to scroll enough bars into the future and enable Chart->Lock Fill Space. The extra indicator in the study collection titled "Senko Span A & B Highlight" is unnecessary but I found that it makes the Kumo cloud stand out better. Once you apply the study collection to a fresh chart you can change the colors and line draw styles as you wish. When your done you can use the Save Studies As Study Collection, Save All button to overwrite the original with your own settings. If you're curious as to why I used a Simple moving average length of 1 displaced 26 bars in the past for the Chikou-Span, its because the default Chikou-Span indicator draws all the way to the current bar when looking at the past therefore showing future price movement which is misleading. I am not sure how to define that, I just selected the ab study for a blank chart. SC never misses a beat in wine normally and if a filled rectangle can be classed as what you mention above, it works fine. If it is down to wine, I guess there is nothing I can do right?

The Wine developers did some fixes in Wine 3.6, according to comment 5 by Alexandre Julliard 2018-04-13 here, against SierraChart version 1280: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39011 The fix mentioned above is viewable here: https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/commit/97f996744eafc4ad640ca3b9d97016625443c8cd As of 2019-Feb-03, using Wine4.0 on Mac OSX 10.13.6 (High Sierra), I still encounter several minute long hangs with both the built in Senko-Span A&B, and with the Ichimoku study collection from the additional files. This is under SierraChart.exe 1865, 32-bit build. So there has been a regression (in Wine), or the fix was incomplete. Or possibly the latest SC is exercising new functionality in Wine that is buggy. Follow up to last post: Darnit. Not being able to view the cloud on wine/OSX is starting to really annoy me. I may have to put on my C++ dev hat and dive into the wine debugging environment to fix this. So a quick question for SierraChart developers: does the C++ code in SC for Senko-Span A&B use some unique/distinct/different windows API calls compared to other charting functionalities? If there are different calls used (some distinction), that would help me track down what is going wrong in WINE more quickly -- thanks!
