Alert Sound Settings is playing the default sound instead of the . wav file selected. If I click Test Sound I keep listening the default Bell Sound.
Thank you

Check if you have applied as follows.

1. Select Alert 1.
2. Select Sound File.
3. Click Apply button.

The selected sound file will apply to Alert 1.

Do as above for Alert 2, 3, 4 etc.

By prefixing sound files 01-, 02-, 03-, sound can be sequentially assigned to Alert 1, 2, 3 etc. Sounds are then easily identified against matching Alert number.

Thank you User528970!
I use the prefix file as you explain because I have many Alerts and I have applied it as in the steps you explain and as SC's guide says but it is still not working. The file is .wav format and it is 2 seconds long. But I keep listening the same Default Bell Alert.
Thank you

OK, understood.
As last comment - when Alert 1 is in view the box directly below should show the assigned sound.
When Alert 1 is changed to Alert 2 the assigned sound should also change, and so on for remained of Alert numbers.

Clearly the wav file you are trying to use is not a compatible file.

The wav file was compatible, but SC was not able to access to a subFolder I created inside the AlertSounds folder. The raw .wav file must be in the AlertSounds folder, ant not in any other folder.
