Overlaying two indicators with different scales and centering them at same zero lines

I have been trying to figure this out from the Sierra material and I cannot figure it out. I want to overlay Ask/Bid Volume Differencce Bars and bid ask volume ratio in the same subgraph and have them both be centered at the same line. The scales are significantly different so when I set the bars to automatic and the ratio to independent they are not centered at the same spot. How can I center them both and then make one independent to see both? Thanks

This is on our list of a new scale type to add to accomplish this.

For now set the Scale Range for both of those studies to "Automatic".

When I set both to automatic, the smaller range indicator, Bid/Ask volume disappears because it flattens out completely.

Here's a way to accomplish this.
It works as long as the line that you want them both to be centered around is zero.

Set the scale for each study to user-defined.
For each study, set the Top of Range to what you want, and set the Bottom of Range to -(Top of Range).
For example, Top of Range = 100 and Bottom of Range = -100.
If neither study never reaches 100, you could use smaller numbers, like 60 and -60.
The range limits don't have to match for the 2 studies, so you can adjust the relative scale as you like.
As long as the top and bottom are equidistant from zero, the zero line will be smack in the middle of the range for both studies, so they'll coincide.
I tried it out, and it seems to work.

I suppose you could also use this approach if the center line was other than zero - the arithmetic would just be a little more complicated. :-)
Sierra's new scale type, when it's available, may offer greater flexibility - but this might suffice for you in the meantime.

Any news on fixing/adding this? It will be a great help when having multiple studies in the same chart region. Thanks

No, we have not yet gotten to this. We will try to get to it in the next month.

I would also very much like to have two indicators in the same chart region, so would like to add a request to raise the priority of this feature. I would like to have two indicators in the same region as follows:

1. needs a scale from 0-100
2. needs a variable (+ve and -ve) scale (e.g. slope of a moving average)

Was this ever implemented? Looking to have a symbol overlayed by another symbol in the same pane

For post #9 just use an Independent scale for each:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Range (Scale Settings)

There is also a new Automatic Zero Centered Scale Range. This has been in there for months now.
