On opening my Sierra Charts this AM for trading I found that certain studies have disappeared from the "Studies Available" menu and my chartbooks. For example, Relative Volume which I use regularly has gone and only a black space shows on my saved chartbooks. Where do I find this now?

What version are you running? You can see the version number on the title bar of Sierra Chart.

The first thing we want you to do is to update Sierra Chart to the current version if it is not already. Follow the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SoftwareDownload.php#FastUpdate

If you are on the current version of Sierra Chart, then let us know. We will then approach this differently.

Me again. Wondering if it could have been something with the download of a DLL file for EMiniPlayer charts - which are supposed to be compatible with Sierra Charts. I have not been able to get that working either - that is why I would like to pay for some on line support to get this whole thing fixed.

Thanks Engineering support

We do not see how it is related to a custom study.

First thing we want you to do is to exit from Sierra Chart (File >> Exit). Go to the folder C:\SierraChart\

Delete the SierraChartStudies.dll file.

And then install Sierra Chart using this installer:

OK therefore that is the problem.

Exit from Sierra Chart (File >> Exit).

And then install Sierra Chart using this installer:
https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartFileDownloader.exe

Let us know if that resolves the problem.

Thanks - I did the download and it works fine now. EMiniPlayer does not load but that is not your problem.

Have a great 2018!

Richard
