Hi,

I started trading considerable funds via advisor master account (with multiple subaccounts) through Interactivebrokers.

What is the situation with them - is it advisable for me to use Sierra as a "trading platform" in this case? Is that combination reliable?

I am aware IB is a complex system and can have many tech. issues. That's the reason I am using Sierra as a charting package only.

However, it would greatly simplify my work and make it a lot easier if I could execute all trades in Sierra and they would be done in that Advisor master account with IB and risk properly allocated (as predefined in IB TWS right now).

Thanks for your feedback.

Hi, have you been able to successfully use Advisor master account with Sierra to trade multiple accounts with a single click?
Would be great to discuss your experiences.
Thanks!

Hi,
no, I haven't even tried, sorry.
I was just no ready to experience errors that I am warned about upfront.

Okay, thank you!

I'm just going to post a request related to this topic again, because seemingly I figured out how it works, and (at least at my side) it works perfectly without any issues. Although there is a need for an addition to SC what can improve the existing functions.

Regards,
tt

Are you all using the IB FA account functionality through SC without issues? Anything to be aware of or a preferred way to do it?
