I keep getting a message ver. 1623 is available when I start up, but every time I try to "download current version" it says it is starting download and then never updates. I am currently on 1620 and continue to stay there. Thx.

This is the message to download. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1513041630459.png This is what the log says shortly after starting "help>download current" http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1513041742568.png Then it says (can't take a pic) "The software update has been downloaded...Sierra Chart needs to be closed..." I click yes, tell it to save, it shuts down, I restart, and then I am back at the beginning with the message to download 1623 |

Go to this folder on your system: C:\SierraChart\ Is Make a note of the modified date and file size of SierraChart.exe. Update Sierra Chart again. Are there any messages displayed which indicates that the installation completed with errors? Before running Sierra Chart again, make a note of the modified date and file size of SierraChart.exe. OK- that must be the secret sauce, because I checked, the file was still dated 10/4/17 and ran update again and this time it went into sierra chart installer and updated and now it says I am on version 1663. Don't know how but it worked. Thank you |
