Hi SC support, after drawing a volume profile with developing VPOC, I would like to place an alert
1. when a new VPOC is formed, i.e, when the developing VPOC moves from the current high volume price to a new high volume price. Eg, current VPOC is 2575 with volume of 10000 at the price---- price moves to 2580 and makes a volume of 10001---developing VPOC shifts to 2580 and an audio alert is generated
2. when the volume at a specific price chosen by me inside an drawn volume profile crosses a number decided by me. Eg, an alert when volume at price 2575 > 10000

How to attain these two? Thank You

We have to add new Simple Alert functions to support this.

We will do that.

Hi Support, can you please let me know if those alert functions have been added? I have reviewed "alerts and scanning" page and have 2 relevant alerts related to this --- first is "VAP(price, offset)" and the second is "Alert for Volume Greater Than Certain Volume", where the V here seems to represent bar volume. I could not find any term related to VPOC inside a drawn volume profile. Please help.

This is not done, and is not really very simple and it is not necessarily something that upon further review is not necessarily something we would add because there are a lot of considerations and some complications with it.

What we are going to start off with is add ACSIL functions to access the volume at price data from Volume Profiles from the Volume by Price study on a chart. Functions like this for Simple Alert Formulas will have to be supported later on, if at all.

Letting you know we are going to work on simple alert functions for accessing the data within volume profiles.

We now have a more efficient way to do that.
