I want to put a line on an intraday chart that reflects a high and low over the last three days. I have tried to use the study High/Low for time period -- Extended but I cannot get the lines to show. Is this the right study to use for this, and if so, what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

There is not a study that will do exactly this.

This is the closest that is available:
Previous/Period OHLC-Variable Period

The problem is, the three days is going to start in relation to a fixed point of time in the past, and not from the end of the chart.

How about running a daily chart with a Highest High/Lowest Low over the last three bars and then running a Study Price Overlay on an intraday chart (e.g. 5 minutes). It looks like the attached. I can get the value to show on the current day. Is there a way to extend the line on the current day?

Is the last day in the Historical Daily chart, the current date?

Also provide us a Chartbook containing these two charts configured as you have done. Follow the instructions here:

Hello,

is it possible to set a day high / low line in Volume by price?
