Idea: Custom Studies "Store"

We are thinking of creating something like a "store" for the available commercial custom studies made for Sierra Chart. We would not accept payments, but we would list them, along with a paragraph or two that the developer writes and a screenshot. You could then make a request to have your Sierra Chart account authorized to use the studies and arrange payment with the developer. Let us know what you think. It sounds like a very good idea. The store could be used to list and share even non commercial studies. With this all the studies will be listed and categorised in one place.

There doesn't seem to be any custom studies or trading systems out on the open market for Sierra charts. A quick google search didn't turn up any. https://www.google.com/search?ei=1-_6Wdb8JseXmQGVsbDQDQ&q=sierra+charts+studies&oq=sierra+charts+studies Maybe this will provided users a reason to stay with Sierra verses moving up to more advanced trading platforms. |

As a published developer of commercial indicators for Sierra Chart that are available through an ecommerce site, in addition to: You could then make a request to have your Sierra Chart account authorized to use the studies and arrange payment with the developer.
how about we provide links to our store/add to cart/checkout for the indicators? Overall it’s a good idea. |

Since only the developer is aware of payments, he's the only one who can authorize/unauthorize users, can't he ? |

Yes, only the developer can authorize users. So the request would be to the developer to arrange payment and authorize the user.

Any ideas on this ? Maybe something like Ninja's ninjatraderecosystem web site (see https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/search-results/?fwp_category=indicators ) , where developers can post a small pic and short description of their studies. |

We will have something basic put together soon. Basically what we will do is give you an option to make your studies publicly available and for users to get an automatic trial for a certain number of days. And then you will be notified about this.
