Trade error

When my spreadsheet study triggers a short or long, a trade is sometimes taken.
However, the trade is immediately exited...
Even though I have no stop loss set, and no exit formula/strategy set.

I have even changed the spreadsheet study to trigger on the most basic of inputs
such as crossover functions, and buy at open.

Even still, the trades rarely get entered,
and if they are entered, they are almost immediately exited.

I have been running this is sim mode for now, so this is not a data feed issue,
I don't think... I am assuming I am doing something wrong with the type of trade
I am using. Has anyone run into this problem before?

What is therefore exiting the position? You can see this clearly in the Trade >> Trade Activity Log. Refer to the Order Action Source column.

No trades are appearing. Simulated or not.

Only shows that I have connected to a data feed.

You need to set the controls at the top appropriately to display what you need. At the top left you also need to select All Activity and select the Trade Activity tab.

Refer to the instructions here:

I did this. There is no trade activity logged. sim or not. Might this be a broker issue?

You have to see something.

Please tell us what the settings are at the top of the Trade Activity Log and what tab you have selected.

All activity - all simulated - tab trade activity - all accounts

All activity - non simulated - tab trade activity - all accounts

There is nothing being recorded (except logging into the data feed),
as far as I can tell, in both the sim and the non-sim accounts.

Most likely the problem is you have not selected the proper symbol at the top of the Trade Activity Log. What did you select for the symbol?

The other thing to check is the Date Range.

If you need help we can help with this specific issue using remote assistance.

I figured out the problem. Thnk you for pointing out the symbol section.
Thats a great feature.

The spreadsheets operate simultaneously on the same trades.
So if I'm running three spreadsheets, :/ A buy entry on one can be ended by an exit in another.
Thank you for helping.
