Pending Scale Out/In Orders do not cancel

Is there a setting that supports the automatic cancellation of any pending scaled orders to a bracketed position? if I place pending exits that are short of my targets and I get stopped...then the pending scaled orders remain open...if the parent order is flat then any subsequent scaled orders should also be cancelled with my exits. Also is there a way to make exit targets and scaled orders (both sell limits from a long for example) appear differently? I am on trial...trying to migrate from NT and order management is much different. thanks, Lee |

This is not clear for us. As long as you are using the Attached Orders functionality, the Target and Stop orders will be canceled as needed. Refer to: Attached Orders Child orders can be set to a different color. Simple bracket OCO template...5 lots...scale in and scale out is checked on orders menu 8 tick stop...12 tick target...so long 5...lets say market has slowed and I am sitting on 4 tick profit..I want to take partial profits at 6 and 8 ticks...but leave the balance at 12 ticks in case market runs...I place a limit order to sell (scale out limit for 2 contracts) If market reverses suddenly and the stop all order is filled...the parent bracket orders are automatically cancelled...but the pending scale out orders (that were never filled and were not part of the parent orders remain open....its a problem |

Those orders unless they fill, will not scale down the existing Attached Orders.Refer to: Attached Orders: Scaling Out Until those orders fill, they are just considered as independent orders. They are not going to be canceled when the Stop order fills. What you might want to do is cancel the existing Attached Orders and submit a new set of them configured as you require.
