In startup Sierra continuously opens a Chartbook1 tab. Why is this ?
Please see attached picture of my setup.

Do you know if you are using the TransAct/Infinity trading software also?

If you are not familiar with this, then you are not.

This really is very puzzling.

The only thing we can think of is to get the Sierra3.CFG file from the folder Sierra Chart is installed to, from you. You can privately attach it here following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

We will test it and see if we can reproduce the problem.

Although are you running any custom studies? It is possible for custom studies to open Chartbooks.

Yes I am running custom studies but none of them opens any files... but when I deleted the "Files To Open On Startup" and added them back the problem was fixed.

So the problem is now solved in somehow... :D

It seems the problem exists when the first file to open on startup is a spreadsheet and second is chartbook. If I reverse the order the problem disappears.

I hope this helps.

Actually that does make sense because a Chartbook is required for a Spreadsheet. So one is being created if one does not already exist.

We will explain this in the documentation.
