Zig-Zag Volume Suffixes --K's

In the Zig-Zag Study "Settings and Inputs", when I've chosen "Yes" for "Format Volume Using Large Number Suffix (K/M), the Suffix "K" is not utilized for "four"-figured/single digit (i.e. 1 thru 9)thousands, or "K's". Is it possible to change that to include 1K thru 9.9 K? For those who use volumetric "patterns" or waves, etc. and rely on visual "quick/fast thinking" types of recognition and differentiation, it is much easier (from a visual Gestalt point of view)to keep "apples in the apple basket" and "oranges in the orange basket" when making split second comparisons of relationships of "baskets" of the same kind of "fruit"(i.e. 1-999, "K"'s, "M"'s). "K's" seem to be very common, if not the most common Zig-Zag or Wave volume, for many of the widely traded markets/symbols for day traders. To quickly compare the "visual" text print 2.37K to 45.4K (quickly comparing 2+ t0 45+) is much more helpful, efficient and emphatic than seeing something like 2370 and comparing that to 45. "Emphatic" is the operative word here from a "perception" point of view. Obviously, only a miniscule amount of mental effort is needed to consciously compare the latter, but I feel those who have trained to operate on an almost subliminal basis for those comparisons whilst simultaneously contemplating other data inputs, such a change in labeling could be most helpful and appreciated.

This is not something that we would change.

We could add the underlying function to format a volume number as you require, but you would need to take the source code and make the necessary modifications or have a programmer do it.

Or we could do it for an additional cost at 55 USD per hour for you.

Please quote me an estimate of time required for your services for such a project. I would certainly appreciate having you adding the "underlying function".

At this point in time we cannot say when we will look at this. Put 0% reliance on us. It was a mistake for us to to say that we would look at this. We just simply do not have the time.

Would be best that you hire a developer to accomplish what you want rather than relying on us.

I recompiled the zigzag from study7.cpp and added Divisor input field at the end (default 1000).
the study is called Zigzag2. you need to place the dll into the sierra\data folder (64 bits)
Seems to work ok. hope it works well for you.

Thanks for the great work on the update.

Is there source code (.cpp) available for this?

A slight modification of the original sources. I just divide the volume by default by 1000 to get clearer values
