Hello Support

Is there any way to import positions using ACSIL on the fly (once per 100-200 ms)?

Thnx.

When you say Position, you are referring to a Position related to trading. There really is not a way to cause a Trade Position to actually be imported into the Position list in Sierra Chart. This can only arise from an order fill occurring, or a Position update from the connected Trading service.

You could develop a full trading server using the DTC Protocol as a way to accomplish this:

1. Market Depth aka Full Order Book/Order Log info is ABSOLUTELY USELESS for ANY charting app users because of the client-server nature for this kind of info.

2. The structure of SCID is available and I love this fact.

3. DMA is quite expensive for most of users. So it is not the right way to use it.

4. SC is extremelly stable and fast to chart info.

So my conclusion is:

- There is no any reason to develop DTC server in this case since there is no any business on my side. It will be no more than to solve a puzzle :)
- I better to use most popular third party frontend (for free) to route trades to MOEX.

There is the access to T&S and the lib to transfer trades to that frontend.

I might to make some steps to make it real in case it will be real to transfer trading positions to SC on the fly in order to use SC to trade MOEX foreground.

It is not the universal solution but it maight be done with no additional spendings for users to use it. And you will be not involved in any way and SC policy will be stay untouched :)

The only price will be the SC Usage Time price.

We will look into adding support to integrate to MOEX for both market data and trading:
http://www.moex.com/en/

This is actually on our task list.

Well ... :)

Before to start coding you better check a TCO for a user and ... back to post #3

Or add QUIK compatability:

http://arqatech.com/en/products/quik/ (quik are able to export T&S)

http://arqatech.com/upload/iblock/80a/Trans2QuikAPI_1.3_x64.zip (to place trades using ACSTools)

http://quikexport.500mb.net/ (it was my idea and programmer is very good to work with)

So the cheapest and real combination will be QUIK and SC Special Edition with SC Data historical service for at lower cost.

You will lose the time and money to add MOEX DMA. (+150$/mo as min for VPN internet connections http://www.moex.com/s324 )

imo :)

ps: I dislike my solution as well but it isn't my choise - just some math and expernc:)

What do you mean by TCO?

We will look over QUIK.

What do you mean by TCO?
Total cost of ownership (TCO)

We will look over QUIK.
Keep in mind that Russian Brokers has their own API.
So it is the better choise to use some API from ARQA and be OK.
I'm SURE. :)

As a first quick step try to help ARQA to add SC to the list of supported TA soft if you wish
https://arqatech.com/en/products/quik/modules/service-modules/iwr-software/
Now it has Omega, Ami, Welth, Metastock. None of them has NB/DVP, custom bars and so on.
Don't forget to export bid/ask vol.

It says to traders to try SC because every broker and bank in Russia uses QUIK. Everyone.
Also make it available for users to get demo with no reg in Eng.
Translate demo form to Ru. It helps for quick and easy start.

Then you will have the time to add trading interface and loopback to QUIK.
It might takes months but people will be able to try SC at that time.

Give them some CME/NASDAQ historical data to incrase value of this setup.
Other services might be off as an option.

imho
