Is Sierra Chart's multitasking? If so, at what level, e.g. chart level, indicator level, etc.

Probably what you are referring to is multiple threads and those are supported. In the way that they are supported is documented here:

To confirm, if SC is open with 6 embedded charts and all the data has been downloaded, that instance of SC and the 6 charts all run on a single thread? E.g., I have 3 ES time charts and 3 ES tick chart (range bars, volume bars - btw, do you support?), all six of those charts run on a single thread? If I want to split that up, I would need to open a second instance of SC and pay an additional fee for the extra connection(s). BTW, I have a 6/12 core Intel processor. I reserve one for order processing and 5 for charting.

Additionally, does SC support cursor synchronization between instances?

We really do not understand why this question is being asked. The problem is the technical explanation is involved and generally from the perspective of the user it is not relevant and you will draw incorrect conclusions.

You should test your set up on Sierra Chart first and then if you have an issue you can refer to this page here:

Sierra Chart is not going to have any trouble running your set up in a single instance.

You are improperly putting attention on something which is very likely to not be relevant.

(range bars, volume bars - btw, do you support?)
Yes.

and pay an additional fee for the extra connection(s)
You do not have to pay an additional fee for other instances of Sierra Chart. Refer to:
