I'm currently trying to overlay a linear regression channel from a higher time frame... The issue I'm running into is... It causes the bars to scrunch up because it's attempting to keep both the upper and lower lines of the HTF channel visible on the chart. How do I set it up so it doesn't do that and only shows them as price gets closer to them?

For some reason it won't allow me to change the scale range to "Independent"... When I do, it lasts a second then changes back to "Automatic.?! Any thoughts as to how to fix this? This is also on an 8 Range chart... it lets me do it on both my 5 and 15 minute charts.

Instead of using an Independent scale you will want to use Same as Region.

But you need to make this change on the source study in the source chart.
