Add me to the list. There are quite a few more people at TsT that are unable to trade today.

We have sent a detailed message to both CTS and Top Step Trader about this issue. Please be assured, we will work with CTS to resolve the problem. We do believe the problem is on the CTS side. We have heard from them and they say they are looking into it now.

These are the instructions to follow if anyone has difficulties with versions beyond 997 when using CTS:

For now we recommend using version 997 of Sierra Chart which uses the T4 API:
http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/997SierraChartSetup.exe

We recommend installing this into another folder on your system like [Drive:]\SierraChart2.

If you are using existing Chartbooks after going back to version 997, you will need to use a backup Chartbook. Here are the instructions:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Chartbooks.html

The symbols that version 997 and earlier use for CTS are different. You can find the symbols through File >> Find Symbol. To make sure you have only the Symbols relevant to the version being used, we recommend selecting Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. Press the Full Reset button. Wait for the symbol list to fill and then press OK.

You can update the symbols of existing charts by following the instructions here:

Would it be possible to create a special release for us? A new version that allows the use of current chartbooks, but that uses the old 997 connection? I have no ability to go back to old chartbooks. No working backups that are anywhere near current.

I may be asking for too much with that last request. But, it would be a cure to the problem of new chartbooks, 997, and eliminate FIX.

We expect this problem will be resolved within the next few days. Maybe even hopefully today.

I have been learning and practising (from scratch) for last 2 weeks setting up the latest version with my brackets/OCOs for the 2 markets I want to trade. I am confirmed to start a Combine with TST on Monday 9th.
Appreciate your reply. Thanks

.. sorry forgot the question: Can I trade from the charts by clicking and moving the parent and child orders?

We have heard from CTS on the connection issue. They are aware of it and they are going to work on it. So this will get resolved.
