Value format 'inherited' question

is there a way to lock value format as 'inherited'? when i put an indicator on a chart make some parameter changes then check 'save these settings as the default' it changes the value format to whatever the symbol is instead of keeping it 'inherited' anyway to to set default as inherited even after i make changes to the indicators original default settings? |
