I recently updated to the latest version of the software 1598, and the bid/ask spread lines arn't being drawn correctly on the chart during live trading, but do show properly when running the simlulator. Sometimes, when first enabling "Draw DOM Graph On Chart" It will show the lines for a split second, then disappear. I assume everything is set up correctly since it was working before and does work on the simulator. What could be the issue?

Go to the chart and select File >> Open Market Depth Window.

Does the market depth data there look correct?

Unfortunately I'm still having trouble with this. One of the charts is showing correctly (despite having showing no Market Depth data from above). On some of the other charts, the Market Depth was set to 0. I adjusted the Market Depth on the chart to 10, then "Delete and Download Data". What else should i try?

Go to a chart that you have a problem with, and select File >> Open Market Depth Window.

Make sure that window is positioned over the left side of the chart and then select Edit >> Screen Images >>Upload Chart with Overlays.

Press Yes when prompted and paste the link here.

There is no market depth window showing in that image.

Forex symbols from FXCM and Gain Capital do not provide market depth data.

What is the problem you are trying to show in the image in post #10?

Also as we said before, understand there is no market depth data for cash Forex symbols. It never has existed.

OK we understand what you are saying now. You just want to see the best bid and ask lines on the chart.

We will need to do some testing.

Correct. I think I know where the issue is stemming from now, but not sure how to proceed. So I am trading forex pairs, using SC Data to display the charts, and trading through GAIN capital. I do this because the GAIN dataset is limited. I would like to show the Bid/Ask spread from GAIN on the chart since those are the real price values i'll be placing trades with.

This will be resolved in the next release coming out this evening.

And this may also resolve, a longer standing problem of inaccurate bid volume and ask volume when using the Gain Capital data feed.

I'm unable to update the software. Getting the error: "incorrect URL when getting common files list to download"

I'm also not sure if this is related to what you guys fixed, but I no longer don't get spread information in the QuoteBoard for GAIN forex symbols.

but I no longer don't get spread information in the QuoteBoard for GAIN forex symbols.
That should be resolved as well.

We just hope there are no unexpected issues with bid and ask data because some code that was changed, was meant to resolve another problem we have seen in the past but it was such a long time ago we do not remember the reason. And we do not know if it is still a problem.

It still doesn't draw the spread lines when using GAIN symbols. It does draw it when using the standard symbols, so it should be correctly configured. Behavior is still the same. It will draw the spread lines on initial load of the chart, then disappears it what appears to be the next tick. Downloaded the prerelease version

We apologize. We realize that we actually have not yet made the release with the change with Bid and Ask data processing for the Gain Capital data feed.

It will be done tomorrow.
