When the above 2 studies are used together, Auto Retracement has a function called -

Reference Single Subgraph: This Input is used when the Auto Retracement/Projection study is set to be Based On a study other than the main price graph. In this particular case, when this Input is set to Yes, then the first Subgraph that Auto Retracement/Projection study is set to be based on, will be used. This is necessary for this study to function properly.

This function is not working when set to YES. I am looking to base Auto Retracement on Zig Zag instead of time.

See attached for my inputs to the study.

PLEASE HELP.

This is what we see with this configuration:

The only problem we observed is because the Zig Zag line does not extend all the way to the end of the chart most of the time, the retracement/projection lines, for those chart bars is not accurate because it is based upon a 0 Subgraph value. While this is not the most ideal solution, the solution to this is to set the Scale Range for the Auto Retracement/Projection study to Same as Region. Refer to :
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Range (Scale Settings) (Scale Range)

Dear SC Support!
Wouldn't it be possible to include more calculations like the ZZ Mid Point within the zig zag study?
Two more bands where one could input their favourable percentages based on the ZZ high and low? I mean the midpoint basically is the developing 50% retracement.
Or just output the high and the low from the study so one could calculate them by oneself with subgraph studies...
That would be very convinient.
Thank you!
