Hi there,

I had an issue today where it appears my spreadsheet was not registering a Position Quantity value therefore triggering multiple buys and no sells.
Since the buy and sell triggers are based on first validating if I'm in a current position or not.
I've since restarted my SC application which appears to have resulted in losing my log data, however not reading the Position Quality value is my only reasonable explanation for this happening today.

I've been running these sheets for a couple months now with no issues. The only thing I did differently is close a chartbook, while have others open and then opening a chartbook again.
Typically I close everything down and open everything together.

Off hand is there any that would cause the Position Quality value not to register on a spreadsheet?
Is there a way to recover log data after SC has been restarted?

This is a common issue when using Interactive Brokers.

Refer to:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Trade Position Line or Quantity Disappearing or Displaying Zero

Would be a good idea to use the Order Fill Calculated Trade Position data instead. However, if there any missing order fills which makes up the current Trade Position, this will not be accurate.

Specifically what log data are you referring to?
