Hello,

1) I have currently about 200 relatively lean intraday charts loaded, with each start having the same Spreadsheet System/Alert study to identify potential setups and provide alerts. However, I am reaching the limits of SC with regards to performance, especially against the backdrop that I want to increase the number of stocks scanned.

2) That is why I was thinking about switching this setup and use the Associated Watchlist instead and scan through the symbols in the Associated watchlist for alerts. However the scanning is not done continuously as under 1).
Is there a way that the symbols in the Associated watchlist are continously evaluated with each new bar coming in?

And if not is there another way to fulfill the task described under 1) more efficiently?

Thank you.

Scanning cannot be continuous.

We do not have another solution but if the problem has to do with too many charts being open and the Windows operating system not being able to handle that, that will be solved in an upcoming release.

No, problem has not to do with too many charts open, as chart windows are minimized.

Customizable and continous scanning of a large set of intraday charts (200 and more) without running in to performance issues would be a great feature.

We could add an option to allow for continuous scanning.

Thank you, sounds good.

Does this option mean that
(1) the symbols in the associated watchlist would be scanned and evaluated with each new bar coming in or
(2) that the scanner would continously loop through the symbols according to their order in the associated watchlist?
