Hi, there are alerts for order filled, order canceled, target filled and stop filled, do you think you could add one for "order pending"? It's quite handy for algo trading. Thanks. |

Ok, to be more specific - I am talking about sound alert that plays specific preset sound file everytime there is an order placed. For example ninjatrader has this feature when it simply says "Order pending". So basically if "order canceled" alert is triggered when any order disappears, "order placed" alert should be triggerd when any order appears. Is that something that could be added? |

Cell J4, of the Spreadsheet System for Trading study, goes non-zero when a pending order is placed, i.e. a limit or stop order, so this type of event is defined. An alert could be created from this change of state using a spreadsheet formula.

This was added about a month ago. It is in Global Settings >> General Trade Settings.
