Hi,

There was a user discussion thread on the old support board re Tom DeMark (TD Sequential) indicators. I have had some progress here (3rd party developer)- if there are others interested in this indicator feel free to reply here as I am looking to share development costs (not a lot) with one or two interested traders/parties.

SC - is there any way to flag this to the others who I was conversing with on the old support board/user discussion?

thanks

Approximately $1000.

Although I will be checking a sample of the code shortly to ensure the rules/strategy is correct.

We have posted a link to this new thread in the old thread. So anyone who was subscribed to the old thread will have received an email notification and now can see this new thread.

We wonder who is doing the development? If you could let us know.

Hi,

Any new development on the TD Sequential indicator ? Someone has mentioned it on Elite Trader recently.

I have paid for the development of TD Setup, TD Sequential/Countdown and TD Combo and TD REI (see screenshot).

Red horizontal lines are resistance for TD setup
Green horizontal lines are support for TD Setup

Blue Numbers are setup
Green numbers are sequential
Yellow Numbers are Combo

13s sequential or combo are accented with an arrow above the 13.

The coding is by the book. However, the recycle criteria are NOT coded. So EVERY SETUP is shown and if it recycles, you will have to mentally ignore the sequential and combo from a recycled setup.

I have attached the daily chart of gold. As you can see:
there was a sequential countdown on the test of the top.
setups frequently mark a pause in the trend
corrections frequently terminate on setup support/resistance levels.

As I said, the only drawback with this code is that the recycle criteria are not coded - so you will have to think if you get 2 setups in the same direction as to which one is the valid one.

If this is of interest to you and you want to offset a portion of my cost of development, msg me.

So to answer any questions about the control panel and inputs, see the attached images.

The first chart shows 3 consecutive setups.
The second image shows the indicator control panels.
In this case, the active setup is the most recent one.
So by changing the indicator setting to cancel countdown and combo when a new setup is required, you can effectively recycle the previous setups by getting it to ignore the old setups and just focus on the current setup. The 3rd image isolates the current active setup without the numbers of TD combo and countdown from previous setups cluttering the screen.
So it is easy to recycle by changing indicator settings. It just isn't coded so will need to think about it.

While I would like to express my overall satisfaction with your great software I would also very appreciate an integration of that indicator.

I tried the cpp file from the old thread, but I got all kinds of errors, I guess it does not work for the 64-bit Sierra charts.. Could anybody change this? THANKS!
