Using Zen-Fire for range bars

Hello

I had been testing my strategy using Ninja Trader together with Zen-Fire data for a long time now. I am using Range bars for my strategy, so I need tick data.

Yesterday I had bought SC because I want to go live soon, so I started accommodating with it. First thing that I had noticed is slight difference between data displayed in NT and SC. How is it possible to be having different charts when there is same data source? (Zenfire)

I have read this page http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/ZenFire.php. Especially part about historical intraday data being stored in minutes only.

I am wondering how this works? Having real-time chart with range bars works correctly, chart is "ticking" nicely. However what about bars drawn before? If those are store only like minutes, doesn't it mean, it will be somewhat distorted? What is meant as "historical" in this context? How far in the past it stores tick data for chart display and when it starts using minute data ?

Thank you for help

The historical minute data may cause some very slight inaccuracies with range bars. All of this is documented here:

Historical data is the data which is downloaded during the times you are not connected to the data feed. This data will be minute data in the case of Zen-Fire. All their data will be tick data.

Also, within 60 days will be offering our own data feed that you can use to replace the Zen-Fire data feed but still trade through Zen-Fire. This is expected to be a $35 option. It will seamlessly integrate with Zen-Fire.
