With gain capital, forex symbols are denoted with a "/". For example "EUR/USD". But most (if not all) other systems within the SC do not have the slash "/". So "EURUSD". As you can imagine, this causes various issues within the system. The main one i'm running into now is integrating SC Historical data with GAIN. If i use "EUR/USD" I can enter a trade but will be limited to the historical data provided by GAIN (which is severely limited). If I use "EURUSD" I get all the historical data but can't enter orders. Is there a way to get around this issue?

How much historical data do you require? Intraday or Historical Daily?

I require alot since I trade all timeframes (upto monthly), but i go down to 1 minute to analyze a particular zone. But I think i have it figured out, currently using sierra charts historical data. It would be nice to have more than 10 years for Dailies and higher, but it might be sufficient for now. Out of curiosity, is there any way to increase that? Would it be possible to connect to a different data provider and have everything work as seamlessly as it does now?

There is more than 10 years of historical Daily data for Forex symbols. Just increase the Days to Load setting in Chart Settings:
